What does ‘We can cut your Linux bill in half’ mean?

  • SUSE can support your (non-SUSE) Linux environment at 50% of your current third party service provider’s support fees for that environment.

What does this apply to?

  • Fees you pay to a third party to support non-SUSE Linux products only.

  • SUSE support of certain Linux products only, as set out here [webpage for MLS supported/unsupported]

  • Your initial purchase of  SUSE Multi-Linux Support (but not renewals).

Does SUSE need to see my actual bill?

  • Yes. You’ll need to provide us with a copy of your most recent paid invoice for your current third party Linux support fees (quotes, offers or other promotions are not valid)

I buy on the Cloud - can I still benefit?

  • This is not available to customers who receive support directly from a cloud vendor for SUSE Multi Linux (or in other words, customers who have purchased a managed support service from a cloud vendor).

  • This is available to customers who wish to receive support directly from SUSE by purchasing SUSE Multi Linux Support via a cloud provider’s marketplace, such as AWS Marketplace.
